Central District
From Seattle Wiki
The Central District is the hippest place to live in Seattle. Claiming an overactive police force; two 100% gentrified neighborhood bars (bordering the district): the Twilight Exit (white) and Bruno's (black); the Central Cinema and an extra few blocks walk from a night on the town, what's not to love. It is also home to one of the most awesomely diverse cafes in Seattle, Cafe Vega. Bus numbers 2 (Union Street), 4 & 3 (Jefferson Street) and the the 27 (Yesler Ave.) will take you there. Note that these buses go by a half way house, a recovery center, juvie, Harbor View, the court house and the jail, making these bus routes full of some of the smelliest and most insane passengers (which can sometimes prove to be an entertaining, albeit crowded and uncomfortable, ride).
